The Space as a Work of Art
Throughout my career, I have designed exhibitions where certain areas have become true artistic installations. At times, the need to tell a story in the absence of objects has transformed the space into a work of art. This process turns the stage space into an active element, capable of conveying profound meaning.
The dialogue between the objects —or their absence— and the space I design creates a unique visual and spatial narrative. This interaction blurs the boundaries between the work, the space, and the discourse, transforming scenography into an immersive experience where each element becomes part of a cohesive narrative universe.
This approach has allowed me to explore new forms of interaction with the audience, offering experiences in which each component –space, objects, and story– merges into an integrated whole, full of meaning.
In this section, we delve into those areas of various exhibitions I have designed that have evolved into true artistic installations, while also embarking on a new path with projects conceived as standalone works of art.
