10.18.2024 — Opening of the exhibition "The Worlds of Alice. Dreaming Wonderland"

Today, October 18, 2024, the exhibition "The Worlds of Alice: Dreaming Wonderland" opens in Barcelona at CaixaForum Barcelona. With an original script by Kate Bailey, from the Victoria & Albert Museum, with whom I previously had the opportunity to collaborate on the "Opera: Passion, Power and Politics" project, I have taken on the challenge of creating a theatrical universe where the audience can feel like Lewis Carroll's Alice.

The exhibition invites visitors to embark on the heroine's journey. I have designed various scenographic installations that invite the audience to immerse themselves in Alice's dreamlike imagination, transforming the perception of spaces and guiding them through this magical universe. This journey connects with cinema, art, theater, fashion, identity, and, of course, with the legacy of Carroll's classic.

"Dreaming Wonderland" is more than just an exhibition: it is a vast theatrical space that features nearly 300 objects related to the history of the book, including artworks, books, costumes, illustrations, and other iconic pieces.

I will soon share more details about this project on my website, so you can tumble down the White Rabbit's hole and discover the fantastic world Carroll imagined.
