10.11.2024 — Wonderland... exhibition installation in progress!

The exhibition "Alicia's Worlds. Dreaming Wonderland" by the "la Caixa" Foundation is produced in collaboration with the Victoria & Albert Museum. Based on Lewis Carroll's book, it offers a journey that begins with the creation of the story and the evolution of the character over the years, highlighting its mark on the collective imagination.

The collection of objects comes from the English museum and includes original "Alice in Wonderland" drawings, manuscripts by the author, and first editions of the book in English. The universal impact of the character has made the book a source of inspiration in the world of art, cinema, and theater.

Alice is a relevant character who continues to be revisited and interpreted in mass culture. The Catalan edition will be part of the exhibition, with a copy of the Juventud publishing house (1927), the fourth edition of 1987, emphasizing the illustrations. A scenographic setup is proposed where Lola Anglada's illustrations, in the first version published in Spain, will cover a 10 x 4 meter wall.
