01.24.2026 — Crossing the Void

“The visitor enters the scene and takes part; moves through the void and walks over the footprints of those who are no longer here.”

This text is part of the book I’m writing, where I explore how museography can work as a dramaturgical device: decisions about space, light, and movement that create meaning and place the body and the gaze within an experience.

In my case, these projects have had a direct effect: they led me to revisit my own story. Working with exile, absence, and footprints forced me to take on an intimate responsibility, and that gaze eventually reached my family narrative as well.
